Introduction to Classes

Classes help you tap into the wellspring of creativity and healing within you. Workshops are designed to immerse you:

  • in a profoundly safe, nurturing environment where you can finally feel free to be authentically you & ‘let go’
  • in the experience of your body’s own natural movements/messages
  • in full exploration of your vocal range, qualities, tones
  • in the delightful discoveries possible in a field of play & spontaneity
  • in an ever-deepening relationship and ‘dialogue’ with the many voices in the chorus of the mind and heart

Classes and workshops begin with a circle, allowing time ‘to arrive’ through breathwork and simple movements to open up. Generally, all gatherings end with bringing awareness to both the collective and individual processes; this is often done through sacred sound/chant/song or meditation.

Roxanna L. Rutter, Ph.D. enjoys designing classes and workshops for specific groups. Workshops can be arranged in your city by special engagement.

Previous classes have included:
  • The Six Healing Sounds (from The Healing Tao System)
  • The Nuts and Bolts of Meditation
  • Stress Reduction and Inspiration — class previously taught to groups such as AT&T, bank associates, lawyers, post-surgery patients, etc.
  • Guided Imagery for Writers and Artists’ Block
  • Water Meditations — class is held in a therapy pool and is especially beneficial for expectant mothers, aiding with stress-reduction, post-surgery relaxation & recovery, envisioning (for goals, dreams, relationships, etc.) and life transitions
  • Letting Go at Times of Loss
  • Breaking Open the Heart
