Biography
Roxanna
L. Rutter, Ph.D. holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology,
a Master's in Sculpture and Interdisciplinary Creative Arts, and
numerous certifications in the fields of transformational psychology
and expressive healing arts. Roxanna’s most recent intensive training
was in Voice Movement Therapy, completed June of 2004.
Roxanna has
been fortunate to have studied with teachers of remarkable presence,
depth, and compassion, such as Janet Adler and Joan
Chodorow (Authentic Movement),
Linn Jones and Mary Lynn Kittelson (Jungian analysis), Carolyn
Campfield and
Barbara Salzberg (Voice Movement Therapy), and John DuCane (Qi Gong).
Vessel of
Voices synthesizes Roxanna’s 30+ years of extensive training
and experience in the arts and sciences; and a life, thus
far, filled with adventure,
research, spiritual inquiry, and creativity. Roxanna has been called “a
rare human being’; she is unique in her worldview and her capacity
to be present with a vast scope of life. She is an example of someone
who has
genuinely opened her heart and allowed her work and her life to change
her.
